Well we are pleased to announce that Taejan has made the connection between himself and pee pee..LOL>. he has gone twice today!! he doesn’t ask but when we ask him he will go most of the time. I am sure this is simply a Potty Friendly time for him..but he’s getting close to the age my other 3 were fully out of diapers ( 23.5,24.5 and 27 months) so I am rather pleased.

Well we’ve noticed the tadpole population was getting a little slim..think I figured out why:

We were lucky enough recently to get together with a few friends.. we had 10 kids and 3 moms and had a glorious time..in fact I didn’t even take more than this ONE picture..ME!!
Ok on to today.. my mom has been taking us on a field trip every other week..well since we are about to study the Revolutionary war we thought..Bennington Monument.it’s only an hour or so away.. off we went!
Upon driving up to it Ziah says “WOW mom.. you need to put BIG money in that money bank”..apparently she thought the long vertical windows were slots like on her bank..I am going to laugh about that one for YEARS!
We went up 200 feet to the observation deck.. what a view!

As we rode thru Bennington we saw their Painted Bears.. they were so pretty!
After this we found a brochure for Santa’s Land
Being the adventurous people we are we thought..hey let’s go..we went once when Noah was about 2.5 amd had a great time. So we head across Vermont.. well it was a ways and we finally got there and guess what..it’s NOT OPEN.. oh I was so upset.. the kids were handling it better than I was..nothing on the brochure mentioned certain days of operation..grr. ( I went to the site and found out it’s open all week starting Monday @@).
So we headed back into Massachusetts and found a great little Italian place for lunch ..not far from Alison of Five Blessed Bows house. Once we ate we headed down the highway and decided we needed to do something fun. So we stopped at Look Park .
Declan was so happy.. he was just besides himself with “A PARK MOMMY”..lol..
First thing we did was the train ride:
Taejan was NOT happy..he really hated it ad I wish I had not brought him on..my poor baby just clung to me!
Next came the zoo.. the Goats loved the saltines! ( Robin do Gunko and Sarah??)..next time I am bring a whole pack of them instead of buying the little packs.lol
Lots of Zoo pictures..the kids loved it.. Taejan was fine until the train came by..then he freaked and hit my arms!
Next we got Ice cream!!
Then off to the playground!
Taejan likes to give Mommy a heart attack..but he made it up this fine.. his leg is no longer hindering him for any activities..it’s sooo nice!

The bigger boys played dizzy tag..lol..they spin around then chase each other.. it is hysterical to watch!
We didn’t let them go in the splash pad simply because Noah was in pants and had nothing to change to..maybe next time. Luckily my kiddo’s have learned to take things like this in stride and we had no meltdowns! Of course they have also proven they have BIG mouths… while there I heard this from Declan” Mom that dad is just dumb”..why Declan?” because he’s not wearing a helmet!”..ok i agree with that kiddo. And while getting Ice Cream Jadziah ..who is rather loud says “Oh man look at that girl..she has on a hoochie mama bathing suit..GROSS”…LOL.. again..i agree.. i hate 2 piece swim suits on little girls..but I need to work on them being a slight bit more discreet ..LOL
We are.. we’ve just been busy caring for Declan and his mouth. He’s doing much better and the swelling is almost gone. He says he’s in no pain so I am fairly sure we got the right tooth out. The tooth fairy came last night and left him $5!!! He’s very excited to go shopping now!
We will be back to normal activities in a few!
WOW.. I am amazed another recital is over! This was a whirlwind for me personally.
We ended up going back for the last show..Declan was feeling much better so off we went. Well I was again..crazy lady with the baby in the backpack..lol.. I was watching 3 classes when a “cat fight” broke pout between 2 of the girls ..these are 4 years olds!!! Well one FLIPS out and starts screaming and running to get out of the hallway..she went nuts really. Myself and one of the older girls had to chase after her ( mind you I had a 25 pound kid on my back!!).. got her “cornered” and she is screaming she doesn’t like me, she wants her mother etc..she literally CRAWLED up my face.. it was not pleasant.. I had to basically hog hold her to keep her from hurting me, herself and escaping..I brought her screaming out to the entry way and luckily her mother heard her and took her. Long story short I went backstage when she finally calmed down ( her mother had to go with her) so I could make sure her mother knew I didn’t do anything to her child. Well apparently she does that all the time, and her and the other girl fight all the time.. um..one of the mothers could have warned us to not put them together!!! aghh..NOT fun..but I am glad I was there!
I had no one dancing and only one close friends little girl in it ( well of the young young kids):
Her mom ended up needing extra clothes for her 10 month old..luckily I always have extra in my van so she took my keys and went for them..lol.. again ..glad I was around!
The show was great.. got to watch almost the entire 2nd half!! That never happens.. but thanks to Julie who watched Taejan for me it did today!

Greer is one of the sweetest kiddo’s and she hung out with us too!
Laken is a great family friend.. she is one of the nicest 9 year old I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.. and she is an amazing dancer too!
Lastly Noah graced us with coming back from New Hampshire in time to say hi and good bye..lol. to think just a few years ago he was in every show dancing.. my how times change..now he’s just a skateboarding punk..lol
Well here’s to Recital 2007.. it was a good one..memorable for us for sure. Next year I will have Declan and Ziah dancing..that is going to be hectic city!!
