Well I have a VERY happy 13 year old! Bousquet is OPEN!!! So he’s off getting his gear out and ready, then he’ll finish up his lessons and BAM..off to get his new picture for his season pass and let the winter of fun begin!!! This will be his first FULL season with a Season’s pass ( we bought it the end of last ski season on sale) and he’s old enough to just drop off and come back for him a few hours later.. he’s beyond excited, especially because last year the skiing was terrible!!!

Well today we decorated our outside tree… it’s been named the “Wildlife Tree” and we plan to keep various bird/small critter feeders on it as long as it lasts!

We’ve been working a lot on the Solar System lapbook..Declan is learning so much.. more than I thought he would retain.. I should know better..lol

I think this is the longest I’ve gone without blogging in a LONG time..lol..

We’ve had a good week.. Eric was home from work for 4.5 days..which was awesome! We had a nice Thanksgiving, and spent much of our weekend outside. Friday we went and cut down a tree ( Thanks Tom and Robin) and set it up outside.. it’s got all sorts of lights on it now.. our yard is about 1/3 done… we love to have LOTS of lights!

Today we spent much of the late morning early afternoon at Robins, the kids made wild animal feeders and pine cone bird feeders..Taejan made messes..lol . Then the kids got to let loose and be wild outside then in the barn.. they had a great time.

School stuff is going well. Declan studied Israel last week and starts China tomorrow. Our Space Lapbook is coming along nicely, it’s going to be just huge..LOL..We traveled to Colonial America yesterday with the HSing group.. it’s been a good week !! No pictures..not a single one..can ya believe it? Well I have 2 on my phone…lol..

Well after seeing our last 2 days I knew while I can stay away from the boards and yahoogroups, I need to blog or I’ll have pictures coming out of..well places ..lol..

So here goes…

The other day Taejan got his new Tractor Blanket from an online friend … he LOVES it!

Yesterday we drove up to a fellow HS’ers house for a cooking class for Noah.. they cooked some great food!

Then today we spent the day doing various crafts, learning things and of course.. playing out in the SNOW.. we got a dusting and I took the 3 youngest out for about 90 minutes ( no pictures)..they had a blast!!

we made Pilgrims,Scarecrows, the Mayflower, a thanks book,a Thankful Wreath ( still drying) and Turkeys( also drying)..

Then we started our Space Lapbook thanks to Robin letting us borrow 2 cute Space books!

I have to say I have enjoyed “playing” with construction paper entirely too much lately..LOL

Just HAVE to stop in and  rave about Casie at Sewsational Boutique!!  She made 7 custom Hide and Seek Treasure bags for me for the holidays.. 3 of which she made picture lists for the non readers.. i am beyond thrilled!!! I am so excited to give these to my 3 youngest and my nieces and nephew!!! Thanks Casie!!!!
