Cereal box lapbook holders.

I made another holder today as the kids finally finished the big box of cheerios..lol..

So I don’t have a before picture.. but you all know what a Cheerios box looks like right?

I mark the side so the new height is the same as the width of a piece of construction paper and then draw my angles and use a knife to cut it out:

2 pieces of construction paper, a little glue and some embellishments I made with my new Crayola Cutter i got on clearance at Target for $4 and we have a very fast, inexpensive way to hold and store our lapbooks!

Hehe. I do the exact same thing with the exact same ceral boxes. Those huge oversized Cherio boxes. I even have a couple set up for my files. All are wrapepd up in pretty wrapping paper with butterflies on them.

I make these for my Taste of Home and Family Fun magazines. I wonder why all our lapbooks are shoved in a drawer? thanks for the idea!

That’s a neat idea. I may have to buy some cereal in boxes to make some for files.

We keep the lapbooks from previous years in binders. I just insert the entire thing in a clear sleeve and bind it up.

I LOVE the idea and what you did with it! I have my eye on the near empty cereal boxes in the pantry.

I think I’ll also dig out the dogs’ biscuit box from the recyle bin…I think it’s going to work, too…:)
