I took a tumble down the stairs..I’m ok but pretty sure I broke a few ribs again..yeppie.. anyway sitting, standing, moving etc all hurt like heck.. so I am going to be MIA.

I kinda think this is a sign that we are back overbooking our lives… just when I think the stress will make me crack..I literally do..lol… so point taken..stepping back and getting back into a good groove around here and shutting out the outside world!!

Well we had a VERY busy day… Titanic museum, Chuck E Cheese , “big mall”, Build a bear, Cracker barrel and now home! We got home ( oh and even tough I hated to do it Ziah got motion sickness meds and did NOT get sick..yeppie!!) and I had a package on the front step.. couldn’t figure out WHAT it could be.. well it’s my toner cartridge I got from Buy.com.. um I just ordered it YESTERDAY.. picked the FREE shipping that was supposed to take 7-9 business days..well I got it literally in less than 24 hours!!! YEPPIE!!!! You can bet I am going to be printing more stuff tonight!!!!

Well as part of the new older kids class Declan is in he gets to spar… he got his gear tonight and man.. he’s on cloud NINE! He sparred 3 times and just loved every minute of it!!! Oh and Declan turned in his Kick a Thon money..he raised $300!!!

Oh and in other news  Josie got her Yellow belt tonight..WTG!!!!

Move over Eric..there’s a new love in my life..

Today I got my laser printer!! It’s just a basic black n white Brother model.. nothing fancy..but man.. I could not be more in love than I am right now!!!

so this thing is FAST..like I can not get the jobs in fast enough to keep up with it! Up to 23 PPM my butt..more like 45!!! I managed to go thru one whole 600 sheets ream of paper and print the research guides to EVERY HOAC lapbook I have for Noah…that’s a LOT of lapbooks.( I didn’t print the activity pages as we have the Type it In versions so we will print those as we go).. I also printed a whole unit for Declan and Ziah ( and collated them!!)..ok I know I know..it’s sad and pathetic..but I guess that’s how you know #1 your an adult #2 your a true blue Homeschooler # 3 your a Lapbook addict!

Now what would have taken me literally 6 hours and about 2 ink cartridges took me less than 30 minutes and not even half my starter toner cartridge!!!  I am now off to organize them all into  hanging folders, get out my trusty labeler and get them all in the kids drawers!!!!

Dinner conversation..

Mommy mentions Daddy is her hero for all he does for the family.. Ziah reply’s with “Daddy’s not myhero.. Declan is”.. Declan replies with “I’m Taejan’s hero too”.. I ask Declan who his hero is.. Declan’s reply “I’m my own hero”…classic Declan!
