Scary premise to a blog post eh?..especially coming from me. I love blogging..but I bet you all knew that right? after all I’ve had some 18K hits on this blog in just under a year.. that’s a LOT of hits. I’ve wondered where everyone who has chosen to read this blog is from..hence the BuddyMapping now available to the right ( please.. sign it.. I’d love to “see” the people who visit).. of and The BlogLog..I am thinking this isn’t yet a hugely used Widget..but if you have it..sign mine?

Ok so what was I thinking about anyway? Hum.. now I’m not remembering..how sad is that? My kids have all been sick this week save the Teen…I think my mind has become mush because of it. Luckily aside from some icky noses they are more or less better. My house leaves much to be desired though… I really am starting to wonder why I bother cleaning at all.. I go to bed with it clean, wake up and within an hour it’s a mess.. clean it back up and BAM another hour it’s a mess..OR I can wake up to a clean house and not pick up all day and the level of mess at bedtime is the same as when I clean all day..humm.. I am very OCD so in reality NOT cleaning is NOT an option..

Eric goes back to his 2nd job tonight.. I am glad really..makes things harder when it comes to picking Noah up from his Karate..but I’ll just adjust our days.. I always am for whatever may be happening that day anyway!

Spring is here..it’s still cold and windy and whatnot…but it’s definitely spring! I can feel the longer days and warm air right on the edge and I can’t wait… we are SO very ready!

Noah leaves in 2 weeks… he’ll be gone for about 2.5 weeks.. by the time he leaves he will have finished all his 8th grade work except for Math.. but if Math is all he has to do once he comes home we can finish that FAST. I am so very ready to be done for a few months..I am beyond burnt out. Noah will take the entire “summer” off. Declan and Ziah will continue with the 3 R’s..but I don’t plan to do any special units or lapbooks or pocket books etc…unless the kids really really want to. Once the weather is nice we spend so much of it out living life we don’t have time for anything more than the basics.. our winters are so well..wintery we spend a lot of that time doing the hardcore learnign so we can enjoy the nice weather to the fullest!

Oh we are planning a NYC trip with my mom.. just a day trip and nothing major..we’ll take the train in like we did right before I had Ziah.. I just want to take the kids to central park tot he carousel and the zoo.. Declan wants to find the Balto statue.. just a simple day.. I told Noah if we can manage to save enough money we’ll try to do something else.. but we’ll see. Luckily we can do it kinda last minute and Thurs or Fri weather depending..kwim?

The kids also want to go to Boston again and Mystic..so we’re hoping my MIL will sponsor one of those..she likes to go somewhere with us every summer so I am sure that’s not a problem.. Boston will be easy as we can get in the Science museum free anyway.

Ok enough rambling.. Eric will be home in a few then it’s off to Karate..then home, food, my MIL stopping then kids in bed and Eric off to the 2nd job.. and I may just sit and do nothing..YEAH RIGHT!
