Singing, dancing, 4 wheeling and bike riding in the rain!

Well it’s typical spring weather again.. nice one minute..rainy the next. The kids were outside all morning with Eric and this afternoon they begged me to play in the rain..so of course Mommy said YES ( Declan says he loves that I am “That mom” that let’s them do such things..lol)..
Declan on Ziah’s bike..shhh don’t tell him I told you.. but see 2 years ago he could ride HIS bike with no training wheels.. then we went and got him a new bike, which happened to be bigger and he froze up, wouldn’t ride without them. Well now his friend Owen(13 months younger) is riding with no training wheels and at first that didn’t bother him, but I guess it must be a bit cus today he asked me if Ziah’s bike was smaller than his..so I said..YUP ( ok mommy white lie there) cus the bar makes it seem so. Her training wheels are off because she wants to be like Owen, so Declan took off..no problems. rode like a champ!
next I convinced him that his bike was indeed the same size and he could ride that too.. so off he went!
I don’t think training wheels will be back..LOL..

What a site them riding and playing in the rain.we got a few looks from neighbor’s who drove by, but I think mostly they are getting used to the fact we’re a little “off” around here!
yup..it’s 62 degree’s and rainy and my kids are eating Popsicle’s..LOL
Hey it was a nice new way to help fill up our evenings without daddy!! Next we’re off to bring Noah to BCC for tonight performance of Oliver!! Anyone local seen it?

We love to play in the rain! We would have been right along beside ya’ll umbrellas and all. Wow Declan with no training wheels is awesome! We have tried with Lindsay, but she was very afraid. I think that she will get it this summer though. Hopefully.

HAHA!! What fun. That is a common sight around our house in the rain too. My kids love it and if it is just rain…why not?

Playing in the rain is so much fun!!! I remember as a kid that it was my favorite time to swim in the pool too, why not you were wet anyway!
How is Oliver going? Sounds like Noah is having fun!
