Mini Classroom!justakrazymom | June 26th, 2008 @ 1:20 pm
Thanks to some great ladies at the Lapbooking Yahoo group I am now into making these “mini classrooms”..wow what a GREAT idea!! I’ve been wanting some way to give the kids a little “special” thing of their own, a way to make their own work space without having to make it a huge ordeal..and this is perfect! Now this isn’t “answer’s” ..it’s simply reference points, reminders etc, same things you may see in a Public School classroom on the walls.
This is our first, it’s basically a general one, I am in the process of making one for each subject ( math, LA ,History and Science) for Declan and for Noah. Ziah will get a general one only this year and then as Declan moves on she can receive the ones he’s used and we can girly them up for sure!
I have a little space still to add to it once I decide what else I may want, and I plan to put contact paper over it once I make it more personal looking..but for now here it is!

Told ya you would like it! haha!
Good job!
Now let him color it or put is own personal touches to it, like stickers. Well, not that you would want them to be distracting of course. Just an idea…. But AWESOME!

I don’t teach during summer months but don’t know if I can keep myself from making one of these long before September. What a great idea. I have a classroom but there is only so much room on the walls. This way I can keep the wall for when I introduce a new concept and then once learned I can reduce them and put them in the mini office, and then my walls will free for something else.
Thank you so much .
god bless, Carmelle from Nova Scotia ,Canada

I really like this. What a great way to begin a morning before beginning those core subjects.
