here we go again!

Here’s the young sir at 13 months old:

Just before his 2nd birthday

last night as a 1 year old!

he’s two! ( at his family party)

Well in just 3 short days my last baby will be 3 years old!! He was born at 12:07 AM after a lovely 30 hours of labor.. He was several weeks early so he weighed in at a whooping 5 pounds 15 ounces!

Well it seems only a day has gone by, but I am another year older officially. Yeppie@@… Spending it home, with Eric and the kids and luckily Robin and her krew are coming over to appease my nearly mid-life crisis with Coffee coolatta’s and Munchkins!

We’ve been up to lots around here!

Up first…Declan finished up Math U See Alpha on Monday..YEPPIE!!!

He started Beta today.. this is the first time we’ve used the DVD for him, and he was so ready for it..

After his first lesson we did some work with Decimal Street ourselves..He already knows place value really well but since it was a review lesson we went full steam.. he loves hands on for sure!

We’re working on The Circle Of Life~ Animal Lifecycles from Hands of a Child in science. ( You have to be a super member to get it for a few more weeks).

Declan’s also really gotten back into his Circuit kit.. he built himself a FM radio the other day!

Oh he and Taejan did nature prints yesterday… it was really neat!

Last night after the little kiddo’s went to bed Declan and I played “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego” the board game..to say he loved it would be an understatement ( thanks Colleen again!)

Today Declan and Ziah began Draw Write Now  They both fully enjoyed it! Declan did the copy work while Ziah finished up her normal schoolwork:

then they both did the drawing part..not bad for their first time! I even purchased them each the notebook specifically for this program to make keeping their work neater..should be here in a week or so.

On another topic..I have Noah’s History all planned out! I am so pleased to have that off my “must do” list. Now to just flip through his Teaching Textbooks Algebra,LLATL American Lit and set up his Switched on Schoolhouse and we’re good to go!

Well i admit I have not been the best about planning out Noah’s year…I have a general guideline in my head so it’s not like we’d be flying blind.. and since a few of his core subjects are via SOS I’m not totally worried here.. but I do have Math, History , LLATL and “extra’s” to get mapped out to a fuller extent… especially since there is a good chance at least once a week he will be here with Eric and if things aren’t laid out in black and white nothing will get done..LOL

So i have everything piled on the coffee table for History..we are finishing our last year of US history.. adding in Gov’t also this year. We’ve taken lots of roads to study US history so it’s been an adventure..but this year is slightly more structured ( gotta think HS transcript right?) so I guess I best get to structuring it…wish me luck!
