Lots of learning going on!
The time change has thrown the whole house outta wack..but that’s ok. I was up and at the gym for 5am and the kids were all up and moving entirely too early ( yawn think 6:15).. but we took advantage and got lots of schooling in very early!
First stop was History! We are just finishing up Mesopotamia. The kids learned about Sargon and more!
Here’s Declan at his Usborne Sticker Atlas.

Their coloring:

Taejan did some work in his new Kumon book:

Next came science! We found these great Little Lab kits at a science store when we were out of town the other day. Declan picked the Crane one so we had at it this morning..what fun and so worth the $15 we paid!! It can be completely reused( local friends if you want to borrow it let me know!) which I like the best!!
Here’s Declan putting the knowledge wheel together:

The first lesson was on lever’s:

after using the kit we found some common lever’s in the house!

Next we made a wheelbarrel!

and of course:

it was about here we lost Ziah’s interest.. so Declan and I made a pulley and his actin figure took a ride:

Our favorite build was the Crane!!

I think Taejan would have played with it all day!
