The newest visitor to Decimal Street.

Jadziah became the latest visitor to Decimal Street today. She began place value lessons in her Math U See Primer. Last year Declan and I made our own Decimal Street poster so out it came for Miss Jadziah.

The houses have faded a touch in the last 15 months..but it’s useful none the less!

To make it a touch easier for her I would write the numbers in blue and green crayon so she could get a good feel for which blocks represented whichpart of each number..it seems to be clicking with her already!

It’s very exciting to watch her get to this point in math already…I can’t wait to see more!

    Excellent! Decimal Street was so anti-climactic with Cameron. He got place value easily. Maybe it’s because it’s so easy to “see” with Decimal Street right in front of you.
