Week in review ~
We had another great week. We didn’t get as much seatwork in, but boy oh boy did we have fun and yeah…we got some learning in I promise!
None if this is in cronological order..but that’s ok!
The kids got their new Fun Boxes and had a blast with those all week!

Taejan and Daddy have been reading Richard Scary’s Biggest Word book:

And of course there was cooking and baking!

Taejan has also been working hard on his scissor skills:

and helped Daddy with the new corals and live rock in the tank:

Miss Jadziah exploded with her phonics work..finishing Explode the Code get ready for the code book A and beginning book b:

She also made the trip down Decimal Street:

Declan is working very hard on his LLATL..we are almost completely “caught up” with were we need to be to finish in June!

Both kids worked hard on their seatwork:

For science we are still learning about the Human body. We made a model to see how muscle’s work:
We put those muscle’s to work playing Wii Outdoor Challenge:

and Twister Hopscotch:

We learned how your lungs work and tested our lung capacity with a cool experiment :

Then we played Operation of course!

Declan decided he loves science and turned a 10-15 minute lesson into 2 hours of extra learning..he started a Science journal and drew every organ he learned about:

We found this great Human Body Website and he spent a good hour learning from it!

We had karate and dance..and then Book Club with the Homeschool group!

We finished reading “Good Morning ,Gorilla’s” and started “Ghost Town at Sundown”.
It was a great week of learning and fun!!

You promised me a picture. =P
What a great week!
As usual, I love to read about your fun weeks! If you get a chance, I’d love to hear what new things are in the fun boxes from week to week – that would be nice extra inspiration.
Another fun week over there!! Keep up the great work!
OKay, I have to know where you got the stuff/idea to make the model of the leg muscle! Looks great!
Hun I got it in the Magic School Bus kit we are using!
