Noah got his first varsity win yesterday ( remember he’s a freshman..yet he’s on varsity).. I am very proud of him!! Here’s the link to the article his name is mentioned in ( scroll down to taconic wins 4)

SPRINGFIELD — The Taconic wrestling team improved to 11-8 in duals this season, winning four times on Saturday. The Braves beat Pioneer Valley (48-36), the Spaulding, Vt. junior varsity (41-22), Mount Anthony’s B team (39-36) and Worcester Tech (60-12).

Five wrestlers — Joe Pasquarelli (285), Chris Hoffer (130), Marcus Benoit (140), Jesse Kordana (160) and Tyler Mountz (125) — went 4-0 on the day. Pasquarelli picked up all his wins by pinfall, the fastest coming in 56 seconds.

Josh Moody (215) and James Forgett (152) each went 3-1.

“I’m really happy with the way we wrestled,” Taconic coach Matt Chamberlain said. “We won all four matches, my 103-pounder (Noah Bartlett) picked up his first win, my 145-pounder (Jake Schufrieder) picked up his first win. It’s kind of hard to judge. A couple of the teams were down.”
