weekly preview

This week we have some new activities and a big change.

The big change is Eric will be working days all week…this is for this week only though. It will be nice in lots of ways and harder in other’s..but it’s all good right?

Monday Miss Jadziah goes to her first ever Daisy scout meeting..hopefully… then Tuesday she begins swim lessons..hopefully! We have all the normal other activies.karate, dance,acrobatics etc.. Noah has a meet and some practices along with normal school. There’s playdate to go to also! Thursday is moms night out..and man am I ready for it!

For schooling..We begin a unit on Africa, Declan will also be starting Abeka US history..he will be doing both the 1st and then the 2nd grade books so that he can begin the 3rd grade book in Sept. I am hoping to begin Hooked on Phonics with Miss Jadziah. Nothing new and different for Taejan..he’s still on an emotional rollercoaster ride so the biggest challenge with him is simply keeping him from distracting the rest of us from lessons.

We will continue learning about the Human Body..we are into the 5 sense’s now so I hope to get a few activities to test their sense’s set up.

So that’s about it for what we have planned!

    You sure have a busy schedule going on this week! Good luck to you hon.

    I think that you will like the Abeka 2nd grade history a little more than the first. As far as the HOP, we love it here and I sure hope that Ziah enjoys it.

    I can’t wait to see more photos of your new lessons.
