Noah’s essay

Noah had to write an essay about a person he knew that was good at what they did..amazingly enough he picked his little brother..yes we are all in shock at that one. here’s the essay..it’s not refined yet but you’ll get the idea:

A person that’s the best at what they do

A person that is the best at what they do is my little brother,
Declan. He is the best at karate. He can kick amazingly fast. In a charity
contest he got over seven-hundred kicks in ten minutes. He is only going to
be seven and is already half way to being a black belt. Doing this can take
years. He also has unbelievable dedication for a seven year old. This is
important so you stick with what you are doing and doing it right. Declan is
fast, learns fast and is highly dedicated.

Having the ability to kick at high speeds and have it be in proper
form is essential to karate. Declan has been in a charity contest for two years
and last year he got five-hundred and fifty-five kicks in ten minutes. This
year he got seven-hundred and nine kicks in ten minutes, which is
impressive for his age. Declan is an amazingly fast kicker.

Dedication is important. Declan has proven he is dedicated by
staying with karate for over two years , never missing a class in those two
years. This can be hard. Some find themselves discouraged when they aren’t
the best at first. Declan has proven that he is determined to become a black
belt. He goes two days a week as allowed. Declan also expands his
knowledge of karate every moment he can. That shows dedication.

At only the age of almost seven Declan has already made it
more than half way to his black belt. Doing this can take many, many  years.
Declan has gotten half way in about twenty months. He now out ranks his
fourteen year old brother. To get your black belt there is minimum of two
years experience and you have to be sixteen. Declan will most likely be
eleven or twelve by the time he is ready to get his black belt.

Declan is the best at karate. He kicks fast, takes in what he learns, and is
dedicated. He also just loves what he does. This is very important. He loves
karate. Declan plans to get his black belt. He then wishes to start up his own dojo that will be a warm welcoming place for all. This is why Declan is the best at karate.
