First day back…again..
Yeah..I know we did this before..but that didn’t work out as planned..so ..here we are again..out first full day back and we plan to keep it that way!
Ziah and Declan started the day outside.. Declan doing PE and Ziah practicing her letters:
Taejan started his day baking:
Then as I was getting the house cleaned up Declan and Ziah played a game:
Next they filled their Time Capsule:
The Math U See blocks were played with:
and the muffins Taejan made were a good snack before we actually began schooling!
After that we finally got down to schooling.. we started off with a few chapters of Tom Sawyer:
Geography was next:
LLATL for Ziah..
Puzzle for Taejan:
Math for Declan:
Math for Ziah:
File Folder games for both..Alphabetical order for Declan and ending sounds for Ziah:
Cursive for Declan:
Coloring for taejan:
Next was lunch.. Taejan and Ziah had finished up for the day ( they did more than I took pictures of). After lunch we dug the hole and buried the Time Capsule:
of course all that turned dirt meant some nature study:
After that Declan still had 6 ( of 12) boxes to go..so we took a set outside to work out so the littles could play:
he finished those then 2 more…on his last box was his Koala kit..he FLIPPED out when he opened it.. he loves Koala’s and he’s been wanting this kit..this is the tail end of the excitement…
Took a little team work but we did it!
Well our day got moving around 8am..it was almost 10 before we started actual schooling.. The littles were both done by 11:45 ( when Eric comes home for lunch). Declan was done at 2:50.. that’s with a 15 min bike ride break and an hour for lunch/break. Plus the Koala took us a good 20+ minutes. We had a great day with very little bickering. No TV except when Ziah and Taejan watched a Leap Frog DVD that was in one of Ziah’s boxes. I stayed off the computer from 8am till 3.. wow!!!
Note: Declan did more than the subjects I pictured..just didn’t think pictures needed to be taken of every subject…

Looks like a great day. I don’t take pics of every subject either. lol BTW, where did you get the stick figures stuck to your laptop??
Tisha..they are the ones for cars…but I don’t really want them on my van so I put them on the computer.
Great day back Alison. I love the smiles on the kids faces, especially that one of Declan and the Koala. I also like the stickers on the laptop. Very cool!

What a great day! Isn’t it nice to have a day that’s both full and fun? I have felt very productive and fruitful even thought there are moments when it’s a little crazy. Good job!
