School the last few

So yet again I went too long between real schooling posts..so let’s see what we’ve been up to aside from all the awesome field trips( like the Big E and The Tug Boat Round Up and The Festival of Sharing roots search older posts for that fun!) and such we’ve done since my last schooling post we’ve:
In Science we worked on learning about the sun:

In History we learned about the symbols of america.. ie the liberty bell, statue of liberty etc:

For Social Studies we are working on 2 lapbooks from Hand of A Child.

Australia and A pouch for Katie.

of course we had visitors:

We’re also using Top Secret Adventures Australia.

Declan completed unit 1 of his MUS Gamma.. he got a 100% on his unit test!

I was lucky enough to get Guitar Hero World Tour with 2 guitars on clearance at Target for $22..so the kids have played a bunch of that..

Declan has started using this ball to practice his spelling..so far it’s working:

He was using it with Ziah for phonics one Sunday afternoon:

In history we are now learning about the Pilgrims:

Sometimes I feel we don’t do enough..but then I look back like this..and yup..we’re doing enough :)

    Looking at all that activities let me think that you’ve done more than enough! Surely it all was much fun for the kids. I like reading it and looking at the pictures!
