Trick or Treating

This year we went to our friends house a town over, hung out, ate and went trick or treating with them. Despite the RAIN, wet candy, soaking clothes and costumes..we had a blast ( easy to do with such amazing people).

All ready to go..

it was finally time..for both ToTing and the rain to really get going..ugh..we got soaked..LOL

but the rain did not stop the fun..afterall..it’s about so much more than candy.. 1/2 of what the kids got was too wet to bother with.. but the friends, that’s what tonight was about!  These 3 girls.. a lifetime friendship is being built!

My little Vampire ate too much before ToTing and ended up in the stroller ( Thanks Jules for letting us use it!)..he was the driest at the end because of it too!

Declan didn’t even stay with us, he stuck to Julie’s oldest like glue.. even though there is more than 2 years between them in age, they get along amazingly..another lifelong friendship for certain!

Did I mention it was raining? Somehow Hollie didn’t stay dry even though she stole borrowed her wee ones’ Ariel umbrella:

We took the wee ones back to Julies early..it was pouring and they were spent… they had such a good time.. played for hours together after ToTing was over… it was the best Halloween ever!

    Looks like the kids had a great time! I just love the look of the neighborhood you took the kids TOT in! Your a brave soul for braving the rain!

    Cute costumes! I love pictures of kids sorting their loot after trick or treating. Always so cute.
