Hands on Sunday

So.. between Dr’s appt’s, sickness, my van being an hour away being repaired ( warranty and recall issues) , MRI , Target Thursday, we just didn’t get much bookwork in.. we did , however,get lots of hands on fun and learning in!

Taejan has become a science head and asks all the time to “do science about…” one day it was stuff that floats or sinks:

Declan opted to see the force of water:

Ziah made “soup”

One day Taejan wanted to learn about cranes..so we brought out a kit we did last year and did it with him:

Declan bought himself a crystal growing kit in school store:

we made cookies:

and bird feeders:

and squirrel feeders:

of course it was time to make out countdown to Christmas chain!

then on a really nice day they measured:

and helped Daddy make this:

We had a great week!

    We need to make a chain! Ada is begging for the tree, so this might hold her off for a week. I also need to make bird feeders. Going to pick up some HUGE pinecones while I’m in Alabama.
