Yankee Candle
We are very lucky to live not far from one of Yankee Candle’s Flagship stores ( the original flagship store in fact). I’m not a big candle person, but this place is so amazing we go at least once or twice a year. ( 2008’s holiday trip) (2007’s Holiday trip). I always like to go before Thanksgiving, because after that the crowds are just too much.
The store is always very Christmasy, but even more so at this time of year..it’s perfect for getting in the Holiday mood!

The boys worked together to make a jar candle as a Christmas gift:

They all got to dip a set of candles to use as a Christmas gift:

Walking around is so magically, especially for the kids.

Declan was very excited to get into this room just as the snow started:

We also caught a glimpse of the Jolly Ole Man too..my kids won’t talk to him, but they were excited to see him just the same!

After we were done I treated the kids to lunch at Chandler’s..they have the best food and service around!

Got something to say?

I love Yankee Candle!!!! It looks like you had a great time, I love the idea of the candles as gifts. We may just have to head over there soon and do that for the grandparents. Chandlers is great! If you ever get a chance to go to one of the Teddy Bear Brunches they are alot of fun!
I would totally love this place. I adore candles and have them constantly burning in my home. Your kiddos look like that had a wonderful time!
Very neat!
Oh wow! I would love to make my own candle.
