Baby Steps
So the title might make you think of an actual baby… I assure you that is not so. I have been overweight since my 4th child. I have never been “skinny”..but I was never this jiggly.. sigh.
I have finally had it.. I am so disgusted for allowing myself to get this way. Now , I am not grossly overweight.. I’m 5′3 and about 152 pounds..I want to see 130 before we go on vacation in 139 days… I’d love to be 130 tops ( I was 131 when I delivered my last baby..129 when I got preggo).
I know I am older and my metabolism comes into play..so I will settle for 135 if I must. This weight is not just because of age…it’s because I choose to sit when I should be moving. I have gotten lazy… I eat crap to sooth my stress…I sit and enjoy the peace and quiet when I should be up and exercising..
So ..this is my journey to a smaller me.. I am more determined then ever. I am tired of being tired, being jiggly and feeling like crap..and looking that way too.
Today ( 11/28) instead of vegging after the housework and such was done I played Wii sports with the kids.. at least I was moving. I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast/lunch and so far just a clementine and a few small slices of Rice Krispy treats. I will eat a normal dinner BUT ..and this is huge for me..no eating after 7:30pm…which means no snacks. I really think if I just stopped the snacks I’d lose 10 pounds in a week…we’ll see…wish me luck! Tomorrow on the main page I will post my Wii Fit weigh in… ack…

Good luck to you! My height/weight numbers are exactly the same as yours. You aren’t the only one! I shall be watching your progress with interest–and stealing all your good ideas. As I steal your good workbox ideas….
Good luck! I’ve lost 44 1/2 pounds in the last 6 months. It feels awesome!
