I am determined to get this blog back up and going.. maybe I can have more than 5 people a day visit..lol.. I used to have a lot more readership.. maybe soon.. I will again!

Today the PS is off so I have a bazillion kids over my house.. I am hoping while my kids are distracted and entertained I can get the rest of our fun summer school stuff printed, bound and ready. Then Monday we can begin. The kids are taking a full month off of Abeka.. Declan is done with 4th grade anyway.. Ziah and Taejan are in the beginning of a new year ( they are “technically” a good 9 months “behind” according to the school dept.. but not according to me as I would not have put them in school the year they each could have).

During the next month they will each do their CAT test. In Sept/Oct Ziah and Declan both took their CAT test for the grade they had just technically started ( 4th for Declan and 3rd for Ziah even though she was really doing 2nd grade). I planned to retest them with the same test so I can see the progress. Now I am hoping to actually see that progress..lol. Declan will test first, then Ziah then taejan ( he didn’t take a CAT in the fall).

Aside from the CAT they will do their summer books I make.. then after that month the little ones will get back to their ABeka stuff so they can continue to catch up to their peers. Declan ( who is unaware at this moment) will be tackling a Presidents project.. yet to be outlined.

I ordered a new battery for my little point n shoot camera and I am hoping to start posting fun pictures by mid week next week!
