Ziah had her first Reindeer practice for Nutcracker today..and YEPPIE..she went RIGHT in and loved it. I was nervous because even though my kids aren’t really shy per say. they all take time to warm up to a new situation.. Plus Nutcracker is at a different dance studio than my MIL’s, where my kids feel too comfy..lol.. But she did it and I am soooo proud. She has 2 more practices then one dress rehearsal and then the show!!!

I am Still going strong at the gym..I make it 5 days a week thus far.. pretty durn good if ya ask me…but it’s not enough so…

After getting to the gym at 5am and working out on the treadmill, the bike and the 30 min weight curcuit I then came home ate and went off to aerobics at my MIL’s studio… wow.. it was a great workout..but let’s say I am slightly inept and it will take awhile till I get the moves down..lol..but at least I am moving right? I will be bakc at aerobics Thursday mornng ( tues/thurs each week is the plan)… I really must be crazy!!!

We’ve had a great productive week around here!

Miss Jadziah has started formal math.. She’s is on page 3 of Lesson 2 in Math U See Primer and LOVING it!

In History we’ve been learning about the first writings..so the kids did Cuneiform with clay:

Then we made paper:( this kit is another one of my Target clearance finds I go tit about 4 months ago for $3)

Oh and since Trick or Treat the kids have been trading candy and I think they finally each have what they like only..of course they have so durn much it will take them 2 years to eat it since they can only have 2 pieces a day..lol

Today we loaded the kids up after Noah was off to school and I was back from the gym and headed to the Amelia Park Children’s Museum. ( FYI they need more signs telling you exactly where it is!). This is their new location and they have a lot more exhibits they are trying to get sponsored…but overall it was a great fun few hours!!

Declan was the oldest kid in the place by far, but that didn’t really matter since he was VERY happy to play in the kid powered area.. air guns with soft balls, a ball vacuum and a huge  sphere that dumped them all on ya after it gets full..what more can an almost 7 year old want?

It’s so nice and open, very easy to see all the kids and what they are doing!

I wish we had one of these closer to us, but even with this being an hour away I think we will be buying a membership in the spring..the kids ( and Eric) just loved it!
