Today we deemed the day FUN SCHOOL day… so we, of course, had lots of fun!!

Declan and I put up the new World map to go along with our Geography and Social Studies study.

Then I introduced the kids to their new caddy’s.. to say they loved them would be an understatement!( I added a Geo board to Declan’s last night)

Then Declan and I did the 3 R’s

then we broke out  our new favorite rainy day game..Cranium Hullabaloo DVD Animal Adventure game!

A little craft time.. the kids made Stuffed monster friends.. they were given to us by Robin ( came from Oriental Trading). Taejan’s only had one piece of fleece so it was not round..but he didn’t care!

Ziah and Taejan opted to not use the faces, where Taejan decided to use it ALL!

We hurried up outside before it started to rain:

We came in as the rain started and it was time for Corey to come over and play while his brother was at Karate so we pulled out our new favorite game again!

then while the boys played Ziah got Daddy to do her nails..isn’t this priceless?

Today was “Apple Day” at our friend Amy’s house. We missed it last year so we were glad we got to go this year.. an added perk is the weather was just amazing for mid October!

Amy has a great backyard complete with a hiking trail and mountain stream.. the kids love it there!

Amy has a cider press so we got to bring apples and make cider..of course only Taejan had any interest..the other 2 were too busy playing with their friends ( they are so anti-social and shy..lol)

There were lots of Apple activities and snacks too..the kids loved it!

The kids also got an upclose and personal look at a duck( can’t remember what kind it is)..Cal(Amy’s oldest) and his Dad went hunting ( Cal tagged along I should say) and they came home with this!

Thanks again Amy for the great morning! Oh I also found out that the dad of 2 of the kids ( mom is Megan) is Noah’s History Teacher..how cool is that?

We’ve been pretty busy around here.. so busy I actually have very few pictures to share from the last week +!

Wednesday we headed to the local Airport to watch the WWII Bombers land.. Taejan especially was enthralled!

in between landing’s we hung out with Owen,Lila ,Daisy and Robin.

Taejan loved it..he was so dang cute the whole time!!

Today was one of those perfect weather, happy kids, everything goes well kinda days!

We spent the morning at our favorite park with Robin and the kids. I love this park as we are always the only ones there..gotta love that. 2.5 hours of no fighting, everyone having fun and adult conversation..it was perfect. Plus Taejan got to hold Daisy twice..he was so happy! ( I got to hold her too..she’s the sweetest thing!!) . We came home, had lunch then headed back outside! Daddy had done some yard work while we were gone AND had a surprise for Taejan:

His very first 2 wheeler! This was Noah’s at 4 so it’s been around awhile..but a fresh pair of training wheels and we had the happiest almost 3 year old around!

once he learned it didn’t go backwards like his tractor he was all set though!

Even Daddy joined in for a minute before he rode to work!

he’s hooked.. he must have spent 90 minutes riding back and forth!

Opps… he had a small accident..but recovered quick!

Nothing reminds you that your babies are growing up like seeing them all on 2 wheelers…( but the one that still has 3 weeks before he is allowed on a bike again)

Taejan soon needed to get back to building his road though:

Today we were lucky enough to get my niece for the day as her parents and brother went off somewhere she did NOT want to go! We also got to go Cherry and Raspberry picking with Robin and the kiddo’s. It was a good..and YUMMY morning!

The Fruits of our labor..

after we got done ( we got 10 pounds of cherries and 4 pints of Raspberries for just us..ack..LOL) we had a nice snack then Robin had to get home and we headed to the lake for a few hours!I am so glad we have started going so much.. the kids have become so fearless in the water..and Declan can now swim a few lengths under water with no floaties!!
